BANG is a blast of Bangkok's best flavors.Inspired by Thai street food, our dishes transport ingredients and culture from Bangkok to Fitzroy. Sustainability takes center stage across our seasonally-driven menus, where traditional Thai recipes are transformed using produce sourced from Melbourne and Victoria.

BANG at The StandardX is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7AM-10PM daily.

Meet Justin

Chef Justin’s extensive travels have taken him across the globe and back to his native Melbourne, where he leads the team at the world's very first BANG. Here, his diverse culinary experiences unite in a menu heavily influenced by Southeast Asian flavours, particularly the vibrant essence of Thai street food. Driven by a passion for sustainability, Justin has forged close relationships with a vast array of Victoria's growers and producers, bringing local ingredients and seasonality to every dish.
